How to mine Zephyr (ZEPH) on a Mac

Zephyr is a privacy chain (Monero-family tech) that anchors an over-collateralised stablecoin protocol; ZEPH is the base coin that miners earn. For a Mac the interesting part is simpler: Zephyr uses the same RandomX algorithm as Monero — your machine produces an identical hashrate on either — and it frequently ranks at or above Monero in USD terms per hash. When it leads, mining ZEPH is literally the same work for more value.

Three steps

Why would I mine Zephyr instead of Monero?

Where can I get a Zephyr wallet?

Is Zephyr riskier than Monero?
It's a younger, smaller-cap chain — price swings are bigger in both directions and liquidity is thinner. The mining itself is identical and non-custodial; the risk difference is in what the coin is worth later. Don't mine a coin you wouldn't want to hold or trade.
