How to mine Salvium (SAL) on a Mac

Salvium is a young Monero-family privacy chain that adds staking on top of proof-of-work mining. It runs the same RandomX algorithm as Monero and Zephyr, so your Mac mines it at an identical hashrate — the difference is what you're accumulating.
Straight talk: at current prices SAL usually ranks below Monero and Zephyr in USD terms per hash. The honest case for mining it is the early-chain accumulation thesis — collecting a meaningful position in a small network while its difficulty is low — which is a bet on the project, not income today. Three steps
- Download Pasiv from pasiv.network (free; signed and notarized for macOS on Apple Silicon) and open it.

What makes Salvium different from Monero?
