What each NVIDIA card actually earns mining

Updated August 2026 · measured on our own rigs, not estimated

Almost every "GPU mining profitability" page you'll find is a calculator multiplying a published hashrate by today's coin price. We run these cards ourselves, so this page is the other thing: what they actually produced, read off the rigs. Figures are gross.

Measured earnings, per card

CardCoinMeasured hashrate$/day≈ $/month
RTX 4070 SUPERPearl (PearlHash)~135 TH/s~$1.62~$49
RTX 4060Pearl (PearlHash)~57 TH/s~$0.67~$20
RTX 4060Ergo (Autolykos2)~70 MH/s~$0.10~$3
RTX 4060Ravencoin (KawPow)~15.8 MH/scents~$1

Measured 31 August 2026 on a 3× RTX 4060 rig and a single RTX 4070 SUPER, both mining continuously. Gross, before any costs of your own.

The coin matters more than the card

Look at the same RTX 4060 on three different coins: ~$20 a month on Pearl, ~$3 on Ergo, ~$1 on Ravencoin. That is a twentyfold spread on identical hardware — far wider than the gap between a 4060 and a 4070 SUPER on the same coin.

So the honest answer to "which card should I mine with" is: the one you already own. Upgrading a card to mine is a poor trade; pointing the card you have at the right coin is most of the difference. Pasiv's opt-in Auto mode does that continuously and shows its reasoning, because the right answer changes with price and difficulty.

Does the card scale the way you'd expect?

Roughly, yes — and that's a useful sanity check on any number you read elsewhere. The 4070 SUPER measured about 2.3× the 4060 on Pearl (135 vs 57 TH/s), which tracks the difference in compute between them. If a calculator promises you a multiple far outside that, treat it with suspicion.

For cards we haven't measured, scaling from these two by relative compute will get you closer than most published tables. We'd rather say "we haven't run that card" than invent a row for it.

Frequently asked questions

Is mining with an RTX 4060 worth it?

On the right coin it produced about $20 a month gross on our rig — meaningful for a machine that's already running, and not a business. On Ravencoin the same card made roughly $1 a month, which is why coin choice dominates the answer.

How much does an RTX 4070 SUPER earn?

About $1.62 a day, roughly $49 a month gross, measured on Pearl. That's ~2.3× a 4060, which matches the difference in compute between the two cards.

Why are your numbers lower than other mining calculators?

Because these are measurements rather than projections. Published hashrates are frequently optimistic — our own measured Ergo figure came in well under the number quoted around the web — and a calculator can only multiply the number it's given. We'd rather show you the smaller true one.

Which coin should I mine?

Pearl paid best across our measurements, but it's a small, volatile coin and that can change. Auto mode re-ranks continuously and shows why it picked what it picked, so you don't have to track it. You can also just choose manually and leave it.

Does it hold my coins or need an account?

No to both. You paste your own wallet address and the mining pool pays it directly — Pasiv has no wallet, no balance, and never asks for a key. There's no signup. The only cost is a 4% time-sliced fee on Monero (every other coin is fee-free), logged in the app next to a public fee address you can check on its pool.
